About Dağdan

Assoc. Dr. Dağhan was born in Mersin in 1976. He completed his primary, middle and high school education in Izmir. In 1999, after graduating from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine, he worked as a freelance doctor. In 2000, he completed his Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery specialty training at Gaziantep University in 2005. He completed his compulsory service in Gaziantep between 2005-2007. In 2008, he worked at Ohio State University Plastic Surgery Clinic in the USA. Between 2008-2013, he started as a faculty member in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Faculty of Medicine. Since 2011, he has been the head of the department. In 2012, he received the title of Associate Professor. Between 2013-2016, he worked at Izmir Katip Çelebi University Faculty of Medicine. Today, he is working as a freelance doctor. Dr. Dağhan IŞIK, Associate Professor of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, also has a specialty diploma in Oral, Facial and Maxillofacial Surgery, which is a new medical branch in Turkey. He is a member of “Türk Plastik, Rekonstrüktif ve Estetik Cerrahi Derneği” and Turkish Medical Association. He has published about 60 international and 20 national articles and many domestic and international papers.
