Passionate Associate Professor with 15 years of experience administering education and classroom procedures both

autonomously and in collaboration with department faculty and leaders. Building foundations for next generation of

academics and workforce pioneers.

In neurology practice, Dr. Tekeli has significant experience in dementia diseases such as Alzheimer’s Disease, movement

disorders such as Parkinson’s Disease; neuromuscular diseases such as myasthenia gravis; motor neuron diseases

such as ALS; demyelination diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis; vascular diseases such as stroke; Epilepsy; Migraine;

diseases that include symptoms headache, dizziness, back/ neck pain, etc.

Practically, Dr. Tekeli does electrophysiological measurements such as EEG and EMG also is implementing botox for

migraine, movement disorders and for spasticity. He gains serious success in the prevention of pain by making nerve

blocks.

Dr. Tekeli is the only neurologist in Turkey working academically on Smell and Taste Disorders and has 36 publications in

pubmed (MEDLINE database) which have more than 900 citations.
