Servical or Vaginal Cytology

Cervical or Vaginal Cytology, also known as a Pap test, is a screening test to detect abnormal cells in the cervix or vagina. The test involves collecting cells from the cervix or vagina and examining them under a microscope to detect any changes that could indicate the presence of cervical or vaginal cancer, or pre-cancerous cells. It is recommended that women between the ages of 21 and 65 have regular Pap tests every 3 to 5 years.
